We discuss negative and positive educational experiences in public schools...and the benefit we feel our mixed African heritage children have in a homeschool setting. Make sure you listen til the end...our three year old has a special message for listeners!

* In all honesty, I don't know how people with kids film and travel. We've filmed a great deal...it's the EDITING that kills us. When our kids are grown and independent, we promise to get all this footage out. Just kidding, just kidding- we'll have it out sooner than that.

Maybe.

Because our kids deserve to learn their heritage with pride, peace and joy.

Because we want our kids to actually LEARN, not memorize.

Because school as we know it was designed to produce passive, compliant workers in a working class society...not innovative, free thinking Creators in a free and equitable society.

Because we refuse to place our kids in a hostile environment, run by folks with internalized values of colonization.

Because we believe learning is a natural and amazing part of Life...and the World is an excellent Teacher : )
